Koenig Patrick Illustration.jpg

Patrick Koenig. Golfer. Photographer.

My name is Patrick Koenig and I am a wildly enthusiastic golfer who loves to capture the outstanding people, places, and moments that I uncover through the game of golf.

Over my lifetime, I have had the opportunity to photograph some of the world’s most famous golf courses and I believe that every great photograph tells a story. These stories and photographs have been featured on the pages of GOLF, Golf Digest, The Golfer’s Journal and on the walls of PGA Tour Superstores across the country. My stories have been retold by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, BBC, and CNN. Here on pjkoenig.com, you will find an exhaustive library of my favorite photographs and golf tales.

I like to tell most of my stories on the golf blog, but I do have special features like The RGV Tour and my WSGA internship that also provide a serious thrill ride. But if you really want to golf party, check out my world record setting RGV Tour 2.0. You can always just check out the general course galleries and my top 100 spots.

Hopefully, my experiences will in some way enhance yours.

If you are interested in booking a photography experience with me, you can reach me here to set up an initial assessment conversation. Here are some examples of what my previous clients have said about the experience.

Each year we host a special golf tournament and look for various moments of this trip to be captured for our guests. We want to bottle up that magical feeling our golfers experience as they spend a few days teeing off at world renowned courses and provide them with fantastic memories through photos. We came across Patrick’s work on Instagram and quickly set up a meeting to learn more about him. From the start, Patrick brought positive energy, a ton of golf experiences and most importantly professionalism. Patrick worked with us to custom create a package that best fit our photography needs and executed our event flawlessly.

Working with Patrick was fun and easy. Upon contacting him, he understood types of photographs I needed and captured the essence of my course. If anyone is looking for a professional photographer for golf courses, I highly recommend Patrick!

Photography is both art and science, and Patrick is a master of both. Creative, collaborative, imaginative, and irrefutably talented, Patrick produced striking and unique images of our Donald Ross gem that we can (and have) successfully utilized in marketing and featured around our club as beautiful installments and talking pieces. Beyond his golden eye and lens, he brings a contagious vibrant energy and joy to his work. We look forward to working with him for years to come!” – Casey-Lee Waldron, Director of Communications & Marketing | Riverton Country Club

We have hired Patrick as our professional event photographer for The PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach in CA for the last two years and have committed to working with him for the third year in a row! He is a pleasure to work with, easy to get along with and he has an incredible eye for action sports photography. He is able to capture engaging scenic photos as well as beautiful pictures of the action on the golf course. He brings a unique set of skills due to his knowledge of the game and his ability to blend seamlessly into each one of our events, which makes him a truly special photographer and an invaluable asset to our team. I highly recommend hiring Patrick for his keen eye, professionalism, knowledge of the game, network, value and his wonderful personality.
