76 courses in 49 days, bratwursts and pounds of cheese, I had a lot to digest.

After 75 golf courses in 49 days, I headed over to Blue Mound Golf & Country Club to add one more golf course to the official roster. I still can’t believe how this one ended.

Here are my top hits for those that have friends in high places.

As the internship neared its final days, it was time to take on the big names of Wisconsin golf.

If there is a door worth knocking on in Wisconsin it is most certainly Door County.

For over 80 years the golfing world has been deprived of the Lido. It has only existed in the murky waters of golf architecture lore. But just like Rocky in a title fight, or a zombie during the apocalypse, it is coming back from the dead.

I set up shop at the Ashland Super 8 motel and hit the local golfing spots. I was pleasantly surprised.

There are over 400 golf courses in Wisconsin and about 375 of those are officially off of the national golf radar.

“You guys have waterslides here?” That was my question to the front desk upon my arrival at the Wilderness Resort. The kind lady at reception just looked at me like I was an idiot. To be fair though, I am an idiot.

Before the internship began, one of the golf courses that I was most excited about visiting was the Club at Lac La Belle.
